DROPPED
The plans and purpose for all whom God created are always good plans, and with a perfect outcome for its fulfillment according to Jeremiah 29:11.
The term “dropped” in the context of this book is synonymous to unforeseeable tragic events that have happened to so many people, which have created adverse chain reactions to the entire course of their journey on earth. Many were ‘dropped’ by their abusive parents or close relatives, which remain an emotional scar in their minds for many years to come, many friends have betrayed their close confidants at the most crucial junction of their lives, husbands or wives dropping their families over matters they considered irreconcilable, without considering the lives of their children who will be affected negatively by such decisions. Many were dropped from grace to grass by their attitudes towards God in their flagrant disobedience to things that honor Him.
Many people with these ‘dropped’ experiences in their lives, always possess similar traits of insecurity, inferiority complex, thoughts of not being good enough to achieve great things, and possibilities of hiding their hurts and “crippleness” for the fear of being ridiculed or dropped a second time.
My sincere prayer for anyone that comes across the book, who has been dropped either by human errors or unexpected challenges, and which is still a source of hurt in your heart… is that through this book, your Creator who loves you with an everlasting love, will reach down to your inner soul and heal you. Turning your past disappointment into a tool for major advancements in your life, and the source of healing for others who will come in contract with you in Jesus name.

FAITH
It is very significant for believers to know and believe this simple Biblical truth – Nothing works in the Kingdom of God without faith. The life of a believer revolves around faith, for without it, nothing gets accomplished. Faith is the “Principal Key” that unlocks the unlimited supernatural ability of God, enabling Him to change the life of an ordinary individual into a victorious life of testimonies. It is the substance that God uses to turn an individual into an unbeatable believer when it comes to handling the conflict of life.
The force of faith is equivalent to the life-sustaining heartbeat of all human beings. Whenever the heart fails, the life of the individual ceases, likewise, whenever believers fail to exercise their faith, their lives become “lifeless and colorless”. The Bible says in Hebrews 11:32-34, that through faith (their faith) they subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises…; therefore, wisdom demands that each individual accepts the responsibility to develop his or her own faith.
So, it is my earnest desire that as you engage with this book, you will intentionally commit to a lifestyle of stirring up your faith to act upon God’s word. As you do it this, you commit Him to perform it. As He performs it, your faith in Him increases, day by day, stature by stature, victory by victory… till you tangibly begin to subdue kingdoms like the men and women did in Hebrews 11:32-34. This is the very purpose for which Christ died, to build a kingdom of kings and priests enforcing the life and power of God’s Kingdom in every sphere of human life and activity.
THE BATTLE AXE
Spiritual warfare is inevitable, so all believers must be prepared to confront it at one point or the other. It is crucial for every believer to have a thorough knowledge of how this warfare is conducted. Believers need to know the following: whom we are fighting; the level of the enemy’s strength; the warfare tactics involved; our own weapon of victory; and how to win the war.

CHARACTER
In the ministry and in family and social relationships, a person’s character is of extreme importance because it paints a picture of his or her reputation. Moreover, an individual’s character is an important factor in determining how successful one becomes in dealing with others in the ministry and in other aspects of human relations. For example, a person who has various talents or abilities; but has a bad attitude or character may be successful for a moment, but may not be able to sustain it. The renowned bible scholar, D.L. Moody, makes a great correlation between character and reputation. He stated “If I take care of my character, my reputation will take care of itself.” His statement makes sense in many different ways because your reputation is a by-product of your character. Even in the natural world, bad, tarnished, or rotten seeds cannot bring about a good harvest or good products. A writer once said; “You don’t determine your destiny; your character determines your destiny.” Therefore, character is the covenant foundation upon which great futures are built. Jesus was speaking about this interpretation in Matthew 7:15-20; He stated: “…by their fruit you shall know them.” So, developing a Christian, God-like character that gives glory to His name is a must. We need to cultivate and develop God-like character traits that portray us as His children.
THE FOUNDATION
The foundation of any given thing is the basis upon which it stands or is supported. It is the body or ground upon which something is built or overlaid. Whether natural, physical or spiritual, the foundation of something or someone is vital to their strength, growth, and further development. For us christians, we must clearly articulate what it is that constitutes the foundation upon which we will build, in concert with God, the beautiful, and enduring edifice of our lives and destinies. Therefore, it is both crucial and essential for us as believers, to first and foremost establish the truth upon which our faith stands, before any further meaningful knowledge can be imparted that will help us build our lives successfully.
This book will challenge you to revisit your roots in God, deepen your understanding of the rudiments of your walk of faith, while empowering you to give the word of God its rightful place in your life.
AHEAD
The Sons of Issachar were two hundred leaders from the tribe of Issachar who understood the signs and seasons of the times. Their knowledge and good understanding of times empowered them to know what to do, the right decisions to take and preparations to make in order to prevail against their current challenges, laying the foundations for generations ahead to thrive (1 Chronicles 12:32-33).
For believers and the whole body of Christ, we must engage the power of the Holy Spirit to know what to do now and in the future. It is crucial to see ahead and be prepared, to proactively know the courses of action to take, so as not to be caught off guard.
For the Body of Christ to carry out her divine assignment, we must be more versatile and dynamic. Going beyond the four walls of our church building, we must begin to think outside the box of religion, and begin to better understand sectors, industries, trends, current affairs and people’s needs according to their ages, cultures, and races. So we are better equipped to know what to do to meet those needs now and in future.
The church must be ready for change, Christian men and women must be ready for change, because the change has come and we either change with it or we are left behind. My prayer is that the next wave of frontiers, pathfinders and great inventors shall emerge from the Church, making the Church of Christ Jesus on the earth become the true light that brings solutions to the world, and true salt that rescues the world from decadence.
